(2) Novel application of natural colorabnts in photo polymerization reactions - UGC New Delhi for 3 yrs. Rs.11 lakhs.
(3) Industrial effluent treatment with natural gems and mucilages - CSIR, New Delhi - for 1 year for Rs. 1,59,833/-.
(4) Study on Polymerization of vinyl aromeris inn prescience of a new photo initiator - CSIR for 3 years Rs.2,51,955/
(5) Study on the property profile of vinyl monomers grafted co-polymers based on natural polysaccharide - CSIR for 2 years for Rs.2,50,00/-.
(6) Quantum pharmacology as a probe of drugs structure, activity potency and mechanism: Applications to HIV-RT inhibitors (for 3 years), Total amount Rs. 10,00,000/= approx. by DST New Delhi.
(7) Calcium channel blocks (3 yrs.) DST New Delhi - Rs.8 lakh

(8) A study of the causes regarding dropout among slum children between the age group of 6-11 Years, with special reference to girl child. Total amount 2.5 Lacs approx. by UGC New Delhi.

What are the major research facilities developed and available on the campus?
  In almost every department of various faculties, consistent efforts have been made to develop research facilities so that faculty members could get basic support to pursue research in their field, for example, Lab facilities, Computers and equipment facilities with research journals, latest books and thousands of online journals.
  The laboratories are well equipped with modern research facilities for instance
  (a) Institute of Life Sciences/ Bio Sciences and Bio Technology
  (b) The department of chemistry has two research labs, one for polymer Chemistry and the other for theoretical chemistry.
  (c) Chemistry and the other for theoretical chemistry.
How well endowed is the central library for reference books and specialty journals?
  Central Library is fully equipped with latest and modern facilities. It is fully computerized and more than 5000 online journals are available for consultations both for faculty and students. Apart from that reference materials are also available online. Internet connection and CD ROM on various subject and disciplines are also available for users.

How does the institution organize the extension activities?
Extension activities are organized by NSS, Adult and Continuing Education department, Sports and physical education department. NSS camps are organized in different and remote areas of the district by NSS unit of the University. Affiliated colleges also organize NSS camps in their respective localities. The students interact with the rural folk with the mission of spreading literacy. A number of other social and sanitory advice is provided to rural men and women by the students. Recently, Yoga and Naturopathy camps were organised by Adult and Continuing Education department which was participated by faculty and students of the University as well as local institutions. 
Any other highlights. 
A number of research projects sponsored by many funding agencies, have been undertaken by different departments such as Institute of Engineering and Technology, Institute of Business Management and the Department of Life Sciences. Besides, University has been a pioneer in organizing zonal games and sports meets, book exhibitions, kavi sammelan and mushairas, van mahotsava (Tree plantation) and in developing medicinal plants garden. Apart from that, training and workshop in Yoga and Prakritik Chikitsa was organised for 10 days. Different camps were also organised for health care, dental care, physical fitness and physical efficiency dirve.
